Responding to an Enquiry (EF119)
For when you want to make a representation.
Step-by-step guide
- In order to respond to an enquiry, you are not required to log onto the system. Just select the ‘Manage Case’ tab on the left of the screen or the link under the ‘Manage Cases’ heading.
2. On this screen you must enter your Case Reference or PCN Number. As well as the vehicle registration. Then click view.
3. On this screen there should only be one option, 'Reply to an enquiry letter' select this.
4. This screen will appear, some details will be pre polulated, there is a comments box to reply to the enquiry letter, enter any text realted to the case here. If you have any forms or documents to support the enuquiry reply, these can be added late on in the process.
5. Here you should verify your address that should be pre populated. Also enter the address of the other party involved for example a haulier would enter the drivers address. After this is done click next.
6. The third screen that you will see when making a representation allows you to upload and documents/evidence that may aid your enquiry reply. To add documents click the box on screen. Like below this will bring up your documents, select the appropriate document(s) and then upload.
Once all evidence has been uploaded click next to advance to the final stage of the process.
7. The last stage just confirms your enquiry reply, check the details shown on screen are correct and then press the ‘Finish’ button located in the bottom right of the screen.
Once you have clicked the 'Finish' button, you should see this screen:
If at any stage you wanted to go back to the previous stage of the enquiry reply process, simply select the previous button in the bottom right corner.
